We score a “hat trick” at the IFA 2018


The IFA Berlin opened its gates for the first time in 1924 – at the time still under its full name "Internationale Funkausstellung"; a name that quickly established itself worldwide and stood for an exhibition that should not be missing in any event calendar in the world.

94 years later, the world’s leading electronics manufacturers present themselves to an ever younger audience with product innovations that visitors to the first show in 1924 could only have dreamt of. It is trade shows like this that clearly position Germany as a location for innovation and technology. It is for good reason that the international consumer electronics elite meets here – usually at the beginning of September – for a week in the German metropolis, Berlin.

This year we at DI once again had the pleasure of creating the perfect product environment for 3 global players, scoring the IFA hat trick of Panasonic, LG’s label "Signature Kitchen Suite", and ACER, which were among the roughly 245,000 visitors’ top 3 most popular stands. Panasonic alone took up 6,000 m² of hall space. ACER, in their DI-look, covered 600 m² and, outside, LG moved its Kitchen Suite label into a outdoor pavilion which, with its breath-taking architecture and execution, left our client all smiles. We saw this same smile at our two other stands. The IFA was a complete success for all 3 DI customers.
