Scope and purpose of the data processing
1. Anonymous data collection
You can visit our website without providing information on your person. We merely store so-called server log files, access data without a personal reference, such as the name of your internet service provider, the internet browser you use, the page from where you visit us, the date and time of your access or the name of the file requested.
These anonymous data are stored separately from any personal data provided by you and do not allow any conclusions regarding a certain person. They are analysed for statistical purposes in order to optimise our website and our offerings. The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and server log files is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The storage in log files is carried out to ensure the functionality of the website.
2. Collection and processing of personal data
If you wish to use a service of our company via our website, it cannot be ruled out that it will be necessary to process personal data. If there is no legal basis for the processing of personal data, we will obtain the affected person's consent. This will be visible in the corresponding places. This may be necessary if you register on our website, request our newsletter or when making contact via our contact form. The legal foundation for processing procedures, for which we obtain consent from you for processing purposes, is Article 6 I(a) GDPR. If the processing of personal data is required to fulfil an agreement or initiate an agreement (e.g. for the delivery of goods or provision of such services or for requests regarding our products and services), the processing shall take place in accordance with Article 6 I(b) GDPR.

We point out that some of these cookies are copied from our server to your computer system; these are mostly so-called session cookies. Session cookies are characterised by the fact that they are automatically deleted from your hard disk after the browser session ends. Other cookies remain on the computer system and enable recognising your computer system on your next visit (so-called permanent cookies). You may, of course, reject cookies if your browsers permits it. However, we point out that in this case not all functions of our website may be used in full.
4. Links to our profiles in social media (XING, LinkedIn)

The information created by these cookies, for instance, time, place and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, are transferred to Google in the US and stored there.
We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymisation function on our website. In this case, your IP address is shortened by Google already within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Treaty on the European Economic Area and thereby anonymised.

Google will also transfer this information to third parties if prescribed by law or if third parties process these data on behalf of Google.
Google states that it will not associate your IP address with other data of Google in any event. You can prevent the installation of cookies by making corresponding settings in your browser software; however, we point out that you may not be able to use all functions of our website in full in this case.
Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, which provides you with more control of what data are recorded and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information on your website visit is sent to Google Analytics. However, the activation does not prevent that information is transmitted to us or other web analysis services potentially also used by us. Further information on the deactivation option provided by Google as well as on the activation of this option is available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
